Many parents and students and community members inquire how they can join our district as students, volunteers or partners in the important business of increasing student achievement and opportunities.

To register for school:
To register your child in our school district, you may do so in person at the school which you would like to attend. Students are guaranteed enrollment at the school in the attendance area in which they live. Attendance areas are listed on the school district map. Click here to view map.
Open enrollment for students outside of the Waukesha School District:
Wisconsin's open enrollment legislation allows students from other school districts to attend our schools if parents submit open enrollment forms within designated time periods. For more information go to the State of Wisconsin's Open Enrollment program on the website for the Department of Public Instruction: www.dpi.state.wi.us/dpi/dfm/sms/psctoc.html. Parents living within the Waukesha School District boundaries and want to go to a school outside of your "neighborhood school" should inquire at the school you would like your child to attend to determine if space is available.
To volunteer in our schools:
If you would like to be a volunteer in one of our schools, contact the principal at the school of your choice to determine how your interests relate to the volunteer needs of the school. Each school schedules its volunteers through their school office. Click here for guidelines to becoming a volunteer in the School District of Waukesha.
