Hillcrest's Mission Statement:

The Hillcrest School community is responsible for fostering a respectful and safe environment in which life long learning skills develop. We have high expectations for learning through standards-based curriculum and quality instruction. Individual growth will be analyzed and shared regularly using a variety of assessment methods. We will provide programs and support to maximize student success.

Summer School 2012

There are many new enrichment offerings for only $20. Students participating in intervention classes are also able to take enrichment classes being offered at their site. A nicely expanded program for a great price this year! This year Summer School will be held at Hawthorne, Summit View and Whittier. Summit View will host enrichment courses ONLY.

Welcome New Families

New families to our attendance area should phone the school as soon as possible. After contacting the school you may print the Enrollment Packet, by clicking on the link below, complete the forms, and then deliver them to the school office. Enrollment forms are also available in the school office and can be picked up during school hours. All enrollments require proof of birth; birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport. Proof of residency is also required. This can be a driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc. Upon receiving the completed enrollment forms and proper documentation, your child/ren will then be enrolled and assigned to a class. Please feel free to phone with any questions you may have.

Parents are asked to phone in their child’s absence any time before 8:45 a.m. This voice mail system is available to you 24 hours a day. For the safety of your child, the office staff will contact you if your child is absent and you have not called the school. We appreciate your cooperation in promptly reporting absences.
