On occasion schools may be closed for the day or may close early because of severe weather conditions. Stay tuned to the local radio or television stations for information. They will be notified beginning at 5:30 a.m. if schools are to be closed. If parents are personally concerned about sending a student to school because of weather conditions, they should notify the school that their child will be absent. Such parent decisions will be honored by district staff.
