Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is the "safety net" to which employees and their families can turn when personal concerns begin to interfere with evey day living. Several resources are available if your normal strategies do not seem to resolve your issues. The School District of Waukesha contracts for this helpline service with Heitzinger & Associates.

AccuWeather Premiun  A weather database consisting of forecasts, radar, historical and world wide weather information. (http://premiuma.accuweather.com/adcbin/premium/index.asp)

AP Photo  A database of photos and graphics form Associated Press which has copyright clearance for student and staff educational use. (http://apimages.ap.org/unsecured/logip.aspx)

Blackboard  A software applications designed to enhance teaching and learning by allowing instructors to build course materials online to engage with students in an interactive way. (http://blackboard.waukesha.k12.wi.us)

Badger Link  A resource provided by the State of Wisconsin DPI that consists of over six databases for use by residents of the state. (http://www.badgerlink.net/)

ClipArt.Com  A database of clipart images, photos, and fonts that students and staff can use for educational purposes without violating copyright laws. (http://schools.clipart.com/)

Discover Streaming  A source of 4,000 full length educational videos that can be streamed to your desktop for instructional use. (http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com/index.cfm)

CultureGrams  A database of countries of the world and the 50 states. (http://online.culturegrams.com/)

Grolier Encyclopedia Three online encyclopedias, one of which is Spanish, from Grolier. (http://go-passport.grolier.com/)

netTrekker  A educational search engine that connects you and your students to more than 180,000 evaluated and educator-approved web sites. (http://school.nettrekker.com/frontdoor/

Online Catalog  The library catalog for each of the 23 district's library media centers. (http://destiny.waukesha.k12.wi.us/)
