CAPstone
(Collaborative Alternative Program) began in 1992 after receiving a 3-year DPI grant to encourage interagency linkages and
social programs to
meet the educational needs of at-risk youth. It resulted in a unique approach to
the education of struggling Waukesha students using both academic and social-emotional strategies.
CAPstone serves students in grades 9 & 10 who are referred
due to various difficulties at their home school.
