Juniors who find themselves credit deficient have the option
to attend the Harvey Philip Program for Juniors. This
program is designed for credit acceleration and recovery.
Students attend school part time at Harvey Philip and part
time at their home high school. This unique split provides
an opportunity to get back on track and graduate on time.
For those unable to manage this schedule, an
employment/volunteer component is offered as a replacement
for classes at their home high school.
* Students must have a minimum of 9.0 credits to enter
including 1 Math & 1 English
* Transportation provided per district policy &
between schools
* Classes run Monday through Friday following district
calendar
* Choice of AM (7:30-10:30) or PM (11:35-2:35)
shift
* 15 students per shift
* Credit based core curriculum
(Integrated geometry, Applied Science, English 11,
Psychology, US Global Perspective, Future Point)
* Assignments designed to be completed in class
* Work experience elective available through Future
Point (employability, careers class)
